For an hour and a half, you will explore the canals of Xochimilco and observe endemic birds, as well as the authentic “chinampero” landscapes.

You will arrive at the ecotourism center, a set of chinampas that covers a little more than 3 hectares located in the Protected Natural Area “Ejidos de Xochimilco y San Gregorio Atlapulco”. You will be given a theoretical and practical explanation of the steps that are followed to produce all kinds of vegetables and later you will tour the planting area and visit the refuge of salamanders, an endangered amphibian of great scientific interest, since it is the only vertebrate animal capable of regenerating itself.
